This cocktail is the perfect summer sipper to quench your thirst.

If you aren’t amping up your AM-serving of grapefruit juice with a squeeze of lime, a hefty pour of vodka, and a splash of ginger liqueur, you’re really missing out! Don’t let the pink color fool you -- the Grapefruit Fizz is the opposite of sickly sweet. Instead, you’ll get a refreshing dose of tangy grapefruit and a spicy kick of ginger. 


What you need

Ingredients for one serving

2 oz vodka
1 ½ oz ginger liqueur
1 tablespoon sugar
1 grapefruit
1 ½ teaspoons fresh-squeezed lime juice
¼ cup cold ginger beer
Optional: grapefruit wedge
TOSSWARE 6oz flute or 9oz flute

What to do

    1. Preheat the broiler.
    2. Cut the grapefruit in half. Place the grapefruit halves on a baking sheet flesh-side up and sprinkle the sugar evenly over the tops. Place under the broiler until the sugar is caramelized, about 6 minutes.

    3. Meanwhile, stir together the vodka, ginger liqueur, and lime juice. Remove the toasty grapefruit and squeeze the juice into the mixture.

    4. Fill a TOSSWARE 9oz flute with ice and your drink

    5. Top with the ginger beer and garnish with a grapefruit wedge. And voilà from Tossware!
