I ordered several of these to use as water decanters. The aerator top makes a perfect filter for flavor infused water. I have filled them with cucumber slices for "spa" water, lemon and orange slices, even fresh mint sprigs and lime slices for mojito infused water. I have used these 6 times so far, I handwashed after each use with a sponge style bottle brush and they still look perfect. My kids even like to have these on their nightstands for midnight drinks of water and since they are plastic, I don't mind, and for the price, you can't beat it. I also picked up the wine glasses with the detachable stems and the lids to go with them. It was nice to have them outside at a party, I used them with stems for adult beverages and without stems with lids and decorative reusable straws for the kids. Everyone commented on how cool they were. Very pleased with my purchase.

This little guy is cute and practical. I love taking it to the pool for dinner poolside. I am re-using mine a fair amount and so far it lasts perfectly. I like that it is take-and-toss though so far I haven't used that option.

The vented lid is just great for aerating, and the whole thing is super light weight. I've got wine-bags that I can use to take wine with me for plastic-only environments but I like this much better. It holds a good amount, it is light as can be, it vents and i can set it down on the table which is really nice. It looks good, I've had people mistake it for glassware because it is so crisp looking.

If you don't mind using (BPA-free) plastic, the TOSSWARE 28oz Decanter plus Aerator is an economical, convenient way to serve red wines that need to "open up" a bit to produce their optimal flavor. While lightweight, the decanter is very clear, sits firmly on a flat surface, and feels solidly constructed. While it is touted as recyclable and disposable, I will probably wash this by hand keep it around for a while.

In the past, I've used a hand-held Vinturi aerator to oxidize my wine. While I enjoy the process, I prefer this simple, all-in-one solution. The fact that it is shatterproof and doesn't break the bank is a plus as well. You can just fit a 750ml bottle of wine in it, though I prefer to split it into two pourings.

Does it make wine taste any better? That is subjective, but the company is proud of their patented aeration system. I had a hard time differentiating between wine from the TOSSWARE and wine straight from the bottle. I am going to say the flavor profile of wine from this decanter tastes slightly richer and more nuanced. Your mileage may vary.

While this product may not overly appeal to wine lovers who take their consumption and presentation very seriously, I think it fills a good niche with its affordability, utility and form factor.
