These are amazingly versatile "tossware" flight cups. While I initially used them as flight cups, once I cleaned them I realized how versatile they were.
As I was handwashing one to keep for some cleaning supplies, my two-year-old saw it and wanted to use it to drink water. And so I washed the cup, poured in water, and gave it to her. She drank the cup without spilling a drop. My six-year-old came in, saw the cup, and asked if she could use one for water as well. I went and grabbed one I hadn't used yet (since a pack comes with 12), and I did the same. They *love* these cups. The shape fits their hands (whether of a toddler or of a little kid) perfectly, and they're very durable. Not only that, but they're easy to clean. Not sure why the company adversitses these as "tossware" other than to play it safe.
They're made of a thick plastic that helps to withstand wear and tear while also making them easy to clean. I keep a few around to use when cleaning fountain pens and electronics; the clear container helps me see everything going in and out, and the top lip helps water or other liquids from accidentally spilling. The measuring line toward the bottom is also useful because I use it to measure how much of a certain cleaning solution to pour in before mixing it with water.
Don't toss these "tossware" cups; once you use them for flights, clean 'em and keep 'em around. I'm sure you'll find several uses for them after!
